Hey Vance, this is
Tim Gadd from Dryden Ontario. You know
my mom (Terry Gadd) from The P.I here in
Dryden. Anyways i was just listening to
your Guns 4 Hire cd and saw the website
ad on your cd and since that didn't work
I used yahoo search and found your
website. Anyways I just really wish I
could have watched you guys performed
once, my mom always told me how great
you guys were not only as musicians but
as friends. Anyways I wish you well

I heard of your
website from a friend back in Canada. He
was aware that I also grew up in Fort
Rouge. I am sure that my dad (Willie
Wendt) would have been very proud to see
that one of his students made a name for
himself in the international music
industry.
Best regards,

I'm sitting here with
Kraft and my wife Janice Stardom.
Really enjoyed the web site. It is great
to hear the old tunes. See the pictures
and learn a bit a more of the local Rock
and Roll history. It brought back a lot
of good memories.
Excellant job! I'll be sure to tell all
my buddies to check it out.

Hi vance, met you
years ago with Donnie, Jim, David in a
small club in Montreal. Great to meet my
idols. Donnie sang the Glace bay Blues
for me. I was born there. I still have
photos and a press kit you guys gave me.
There was only a handful of people in
the club that night. You played
personally for us.

Hi Vance and Bev,
Hard to believe this many years have
past - I had heard guns4hire played
their last show in Dryden. Are you

Hi Vance: Came across
your site by accident while looking for
something else. Super great site with
tons of good old memories. I have been
wondering if you know why there is
nothing at all that I can find devoted
to the memory of Doc Steen or his
passing. He did so much to help our
Winnipeg talent.

Hi Vance.I am the
drummer turned bass player, turned DJ,
who gave you that scratchy live
recording of Papa Pluto live at the
Pandora. My earliest memory of you was
at St. John's high school with the
fifth. As a young drummer I took lessons
from Kolt music, Billy mosienko, and Reg
Callon. I learned more from watching you
with St. Silver and Papa Pluto than I
did at drum lessons! You do more with 2
toms than these flashy guys do with 10!
Fabulous web site, and I hope to run
into you again.

Hello Vance,
Whether you cared to remember, I was the
guy who hung out with Mel and helped him
with the equipment when you guys played
with Dianne.
Went to a lot of parties in E.K. at
Dianne and Herman's house. You and I
never once said hello but I admired your
drum skills and your intimidating
presence.
Have a long life.
